Grayhart LTD AKA the Scoobyclinic 1st opened it’s doors way back in 1989 as a prestige accident damage repair centre, located on a disused farm with 30’000 sqft of prime workshop space enabling us to house 7 ramps, 2 professional spray ovens a complete paint mixing scheme with 2 body jigs a state of the art 4x4 dyno and all of the garage and service equipment we would ever need. Situated in the rolling Derbyshire country side it was not long before the local farming community started to bring their Subaru Legacy’s in for services and bodywork then a few years later a UK Impreza came to us for body repair and we were amazed just how good the car was. The power, the grip, the noise we were hooked! Managing director Kevin Knight knew it was time to get him self one! It was at this point the Scoobyclinic was born! From that day there was no looking back, we had found an awesome car that was easily modified and Kevs car just kept on getting better with every modification we tried. The years spent working on the older Subaru’s had stood us in good stead as the impreza was very similar in a lot of ways to the Legacy so things we knew worked on the legacy’s worked well on the impreza. After a few years of bodywork repairs and mild tuning Scoobyclinic and the website www.scoobyclinic.com slowly started to evolve into what you see today, we started to push the envelope of subaru tuning creating reliable 300bhp conversions which today does not sound like a lot of BHP but back then trust us when we say it really was a lot of power! We then started our mission to make owning a subaru more affordable, most dealers and specialists were and still are charging astronomical labour rates and after market product prices were just silly! From day one we knew that we could make and source good quality parts and sell them cheaper to our customers and as we could keep our overheads low as we were not in the city centre paying high rates we could also pass these savings on to our customers. Recently we have had motorsport wins in Time Attack and won the club championship outright with five out of six first place wins. We were also crowned scoobyshoot champions 2008 beating Roger Clark Motor Sport in a thrilling final.. we had other successes in the Nippon Challenge, LMA euro saloons and the tin top challenge at croft
